Continuous Monitoring Services

Continuous Monitoring services are provided by the staff of the Network Operations Center (NOC) through an infrastructure that centralizes the monitoring functions and that operates and collects information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The NOC operates under a strict control and security model, supported by highly qualified personnel and offering one of the lowest costs on the market for supporting mission-critical infrastructure and applications.
This Control Center receives online information and alerts on the availability, status, performance and quality of services and applications, regardless of geographic location or hours of operation.

Support Service levels 3 and 4

Maintenance systems are usually managed with a maximum of three levels, the third level being the one with the greatest capacity to solve problems, reaching this level the technical problems of greater depth or more advanced resolution.
Expert-level troubleshooting and advanced analysis methods are synonymous with Level 3. The Early Days

From 2004 to 2012, there was a single commercial Data Center in Costa Rica with an international classification that accredits it as a Tier III Data Center (Uptime Institute Certification). This Data Center known as NAP of Central America and belonging to the CODISA Business Group offers the national and international market a first-rate physical infrastructure with which it manages to attract some of the main companies in the financial, industrial and Government sectors of this country. .

Thus, at the beginning of 2009, Mr. Jorge Neira with a company based in Panama and dedicated to specialized support for Data Centers, decided to visit Costa Rica and establish a business relationship with this business group through a local company , to provide clients of this Data Center with specialized administration and support services with the support of highly developed personnel. This relationship becomes very advantageous for both parties since, since CODISA, the only company in Costa Rica, dedicated to commercializing this type of infrastructure, there was not a company with sufficient experience to provide the support services of a Data Center with the levels your customers demand.

Thus was born what would first bear the name of NGB2, which later, by diversifying its service and business areas, would take the name of Stoneball in 2019.

Support staff for the attention of incidents levels 1 and 2

These are the initial support levels, responsible for the basic incidents of the client in contact with the same.
The main job of these specialists is to gather all the client’s information and determine the incidence by analyzing the symptoms and determining the problem, to later start the real assistance by iterating in an orderly manner over the catalog of possible solutions available.

Additionally, these levels of support consider more specialized knowledge areas such as communication networks, information systems, operating systems, databases, among others. The personnel at these levels are responsible for the review and generation of the work order, as well as the evaluation of the time spent with the client for the resolution of incidents. When encountering new problems, however, the personnel at these levels must first determine whether or not they can solve the problem locally or whether to solve the problem requires remote support at level 3 or 4 for which it is managed through the procedure settled down. The objective of this group is to handle between 70% -80% of the user’s problems before concluding on the need to escalate the incidence to a higher level.

Incident Attention Center
